Bistro Folding Outdoor Chair by Fermob

Classic French Café Design for Outdoor Living

The Fermob Bistro Folding Outdoor Chair captures the familiar charm of French café furniture through its simple construction and recognisable folding silhouette. Defined by a gently curved slatted seat, two horizontal backrest bars and slender crossing legs, the chair has a light, graphic character that feels equally relevant in traditional courtyards and contemporary outdoor spaces. Its open framework keeps the design visually uncluttered, while the curved seat introduces a softer contrast to the straight lines of the backrest. Shown in a deep blue-green finish, the chair demonstrates how colour can give this classic design a more contemporary expression. Positioned around a small balcony table, arranged along a garden terrace or used in an outdoor café, the Bistro Chair offers an inviting seating option with the flexibility to fold away when additional space is needed.

Lacquered Steel and Practical Folding Construction

Manufactured by Fermob in France, the Bistro Folding Outdoor Chair is crafted from lacquered and galvanised steel. Its construction features a slatted metal seat, horizontal backrest bars and a folding frame that allows the chair to be stored when not in use. The steel construction is specified with a very high protection treatment for outdoor use, making it suitable for both domestic and commercial environments. Measuring 42cm wide, 39cm deep and 82cm high, with a seat height of 45cm, the chair offers compact proportions for outdoor dining arrangements. Its folding design makes it particularly useful for balconies, café terraces and flexible entertaining spaces where furniture may need to be rearranged or stored between uses.
