Meet The Designer
Asshoff & Brogard
Stockholm-based designers Johanna Asshoff and Hanna Brogard met while studying furniture and product design. Their studio combines function with a more expressive approach, creating practical objects with distinctive shapes and details that bring personality to everyday spaces.
Asshoff & Brogard: Function with Personality
Johanna Asshoff and Hanna Brogard established their Stockholm-based studio after meeting while studying furniture and product design. Their work is grounded in function, but the duo also looks for opportunities to introduce character, humour and visual interest into familiar everyday objects.
Their Dropit hooks for Normann Copenhagen capture this approach in a simple wall-mounted object. Shaped like an oversized drop of water, the timber hooks combine practical storage with a strong graphic form. Used individually, they become a small visual detail on the wall, while multiple hooks can be arranged together to create a larger pattern.
